Overview

Manual lymphatic drainage technique, delivered the same way every time

The treatment sequence drains the lymph nodes first, then applies precisely calibrated compression from the extremities toward the thoracic area. It is gentle, low-pressure and repeatable — which is exactly what separates a clinical lymphatic device from a set of recovery boots.

Sequential, calibrated compression

The garment inflates in overlapping, gradient sequences that mirror manual lymphatic drainage — draining the proximal nodes first, then moving fluid from the extremities toward the thoracic duct.

Pre-treatment phase

Every Ballancer system begins with a pre-treatment cycle that clears the inguinal, abdominal and axillary nodes so the main sequence has somewhere to move fluid to. This is the feature that separates it from generic compression boots.

Contact-less and staff-light

One clinician can set up and start a session in under two minutes, then supervise other treatments. There is no manual technique fatigue and no variability between operators.

Whole-body garments

Patented pants, jacket and expander sets cover legs, abdomen, torso and arms — not just the calves — so the treatment addresses the full lymphatic pathway.

Ballancer Pro lymphatic drainage session in a treatment room

A room that pays for itself

Built for the way Australian practices actually run

Room utilisation without extra staff

A session runs unattended after setup, so a single practitioner can supervise a Ballancer room while treating in another. Throughput rises without adding a wage.

Package and membership friendly

Australian clinics typically sell lymphatic drainage in courses of 6–12 sessions, which suits pre-paid packs and monthly memberships rather than one-off bookings.

Pairs with what you already sell

Sits naturally alongside physiotherapy, post-surgical rehab, body composition scanning and laser programs already running in the practice.

Clinical applications

Where it earns its room

Post-surgical and post-operative swelling

Plastic, orthopaedic and general surgical recovery where oedema management shortens the return-to-function timeline. Used alongside your existing manual lymphatic drainage protocols.

Lymphoedema and venous insufficiency

Maintenance and adjunct therapy for chronic oedema presentations, delivered consistently between manual therapy appointments. Clinical screening and referral pathways remain the practitioner's responsibility.

Sports recovery and load management

High-volume athlete throughput in performance and physiotherapy settings — flush-out sessions after heavy training blocks, competition and travel.

Aesthetic and body-contouring programs

Frequently paired with body contouring, Styku scanning and Emerald laser programs to manage fluid, improve circulation and demonstrate measurable change to the patient.

General wellness and detox memberships

Low-labour, repeatable sessions that suit membership and package models — the client changes, the machine runs, the room turns over.

Questions

Frequently asked

How long is a typical treatment?
Most clinical sessions run 30–60 minutes including the pre-treatment cycle. Systems allow session lengths from 20 to 90 minutes depending on the presentation and protocol.
Which model should a commercial clinic buy?
The Gold Elite is the standard professional choice and covers the majority of clinic use. Choose Platinum Elite when you want to author and automate your own bespoke protocols across multiple clinicians.
Can patients continue treatment at home?
Yes — the Ballancer®Lite 2025 runs the Gold 'Intense' sequence with the pre-treatment feature and is intended for personal use. It does not carry commercial licensing rights.
What does it cost in Australia?
Pricing is quoted in AUD, ex GST, and depends on the model, garment sizing, freight destination and finance structure. Submit the enquiry form and we will send a written quote.
What space and power does it need?
A standard treatment room with a plinth or recliner and a single 240 V power outlet. Allow room to lay the garment flat during setup.
Are garments sized?
Yes. Pants, jacket and expander sets are supplied in sizes, and expanders extend the fit range for larger patients. Sizing is confirmed at order.
